• Earthworks to facilitate surface water management
• The application of a composite liner system encompassing a layer of engineering clay to a specified thickness, a geo-synthetic clay liner and flexible membrane liner (FML)
• Construction of cell leachate drainage
THE CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE 7.3 COMPRISED OF
• Excavation of 22000m3 of rock and land forming
• Earthworks to facilitate surface water management
• Construction of a pressure relief drainage sump and extraction chamber
• Placement of a pressure relief geocomposite drain and associated pipe drainage
• The application of a composite liner system encompassing a layer of engineering clay to a specified thickness, a geo-synthetic clay liner and flexible membrane liner (FML)
• Construction of leachate sump and monitoring points
• Construction of cell leachate drainage
• Extending bore holes
• Decommissioning and removal of boreholes
