N15 Bundoran / Ballyshannon Bypass
The N15 Bundoran / Ballyshannon Bypass project consisted of design and construction of approximately 11km of 10.0m Wide Single Carriageway National Primary Road, 1.0km of single 2-way carriageway at Rossnowlagh Link Road, 15 new principal structures including 1 new landmark structure at Cathaleens Falls Crossing. Wills Bros Ltd (in joint venture) received the Irish Concrete Society’s overall award for the Cathaleens Falls Bridge in 2006. This structure was particularly complex as it contained a pedestrian walkway suspended below the main bridge deck. Extensive relocation of services was required including 110Kv, 38Kv & 10Kv ESB electrical services.
